Primary Responsibilities:
Research complex functional issues logged by business teams
Gather and prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate program effectiveness and efficiency
Write business requirement documents, mapping documents and functional specifications in the form of user stories/Features
Create user cases or user personas
Create a detailed impact analysis document and explain the technical team’s scope of work
Create high quality requirements and process documents
Provide functional leadership to the team
Mentor and guide them whenever required
Build, maintain and strengthen relationship with stakeholders
Participate in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision
Ensure timely deliveries for all assigned tasks as per SLA
Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
Present design solutions to the business
Act as the liaison between Business and Developers and project management groups
Communicate with internal and external business partners. Should be able to handle Onshore/Offshore model
Define, use, and communicate design patterns and best practices in service oriented analysis, design and development
Work in the analysis phase of the system development cycle and consult with users to evaluate business requirements
Identify operating procedures, evaluate existing or proposed systems, and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
Assist in cost-benefit analysis
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in requirements gathering
2 years of experience with domain knowledge in eligibility programs like Medicaid
Extensive experience in Business Analysis, System Analysis, Data Analysis and writing system requirements
Hands-on experience in writing crisp and clear functional requirement documents
Hands-on experience on data profiling
Hands-on experience on writing SQLs in multiple database environments
Worked on State/Federal Government projects
Worked on Agile models and aware about various Scrum ceremonies
Knowledge/Experience on working all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle
Healthcare domain knowledge
Proficiency with MS Office Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Proficiency with MS Visio, UI design tools
Proficiency in any Defect Tracking Tool
Good understanding of system engineering concepts
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and data analysis abilities
Ability to Work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination
Ability to identify system changes and verify that technical system specifications meet the business requirements
Strong facilitation skills to gain customer requirements
Strong problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills
Good at multitasking and organizational skills
Good attitude and self-motivated
Flexible with the working hours as he/she needs to closely work with the US counterparts
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in validating end to end flow of data in an application
Worked on BI Suites such as Cognos, Microstrategy etc. and adept knowledge of data modeling, report design and data validation
Worked on ETL tools or data integration frameworks defining and implementing data transformation rules
Worked on visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlick view
Excellent conceptual knowledge on Data Analytics and Business Intelligence projects
Strong SQL skills and have written complex queries for analysis
